ExcelArt Freeware is great for customising spreadsheets with logos, photos, etc.
You can choose the resolution of the final Excel image (i.e. how many cells it takes up). ExcelArt Freeware estimates the final Excel filesize in advance.

All versions of Excel now supported**
ExcelArt works best if you have Excel 2007 (or higher) installed. This is because previous versions of Excel limit the number of colours per worksheet to 256.
However, version 1.1 now supports Excel 97 - 2003. The is a slight loss in quality due to the limit on the number of colours per worksheet, but the results are still amazing!
